EBO Guided Bird Walks

Spring is on the wing! Join EBO local birding experts each week as we seek out new arrivals while practicing bird ID skills. Most walks will take place at Presque Isle, but we will also be visiting Erie Bluffs and Headwaters Parks this month. We’ve added several evening walks this spring, so you needn’t be an early bird to join in!

For All Bird Walks:

  • Registration Required. Each member of your party must register separately.

  • Limited to 10 Participants.

  • Event is *Rain or Shine* Walks will occur in most weather, canceling only for extended heavy downpours, storms with lightning, or weather events that close the park.

  • Unless otherwise stated, expect a Low Impact Walk on Trail/s.

  • Dress for the weather. Park temperatures are frequently 5 to 10 degrees lower than up on the mainland and trails can be a little damp or muddy.

  • Unless otherwise stated, meet by the dirt lot near Thompson Circle Drive. This lot is found on the main road just past the road that takes you to Beach 11. (Coordinates: 42°09'60.0"N, 80°05'03.1"W).

  • Please allow plenty of time to get to the meeting point. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach Thompson Circle Drive from the TREC.

  • Open to Everyone, regardless of EBO membership status. We kindly ask that if you enjoy your walk that you consider a donation and/or becoming a member so we may continue to offer events like this in the future.
