Sarah Sargent
Sarah Sargent, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Erie Bird Observatory. She has more than thirty years experience working with birds and for the past ten years, she has overseen various avian research projects throughout Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Mary Birdsong
Mary Birdsong is an Assistant Director of the EBO as well as Lead Shorebird Monitor. When not tending to EBO business, she is a freelance writer and artist and enjoying gardening and cooking. She holds a BA in History and an MA in Art History.
Laura-Marie Koitsch
Laura-Marie Koitsch is an Assistant Director of the EBO as well as the Banding Programs Manager. She has over a decade's worth of experience working with birds on several continents and prior to becoming an avian researcher, she worked as a wildlife rehabilitator; she also studied philosophy and ancient languages and she holds an international law degree.
